This Privacy Policy explains how SoftClick ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website (softclick.pk), your business dashboard, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.
This Policy covers two categories of people: Business Owners / Staff ("Tenants") who register a business account and use the SoftClick dashboard, and End Customers — individuals who visit a Tenant's online storefront to browse or place an order.
If you are an End Customer, please note that the Tenant (the business you are shopping with) is independently responsible for how they use your order information for fulfilling your purchase. This Policy explains how SoftClick, as the platform provider, handles data that passes through our systems.

2.3 Information From End Customers (via Tenant Storefronts): When an End Customer places an order on a Tenant's storefront, we process their name, phone number, delivery address, and order details, and optionally an email address and account password if they register. This information is stored in the Tenant's own isolated business database and is primarily controlled by the Tenant, who is the merchant of record for that transaction.
We use collected information to: provide, operate, and maintain the Platform; process subscription billing and send related communications (invoices, payment reminders, receipts); provide customer support; send transactional notifications (order confirmations, password resets, staff invitations) via email, SMS, or WhatsApp where enabled; monitor and improve the security, stability, and performance of the Platform; detect and prevent fraud or abuse; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
We may share information: with service providers who help us operate the Platform (hosting, SMS/WhatsApp gateways, payment facilitation) solely to perform services on our behalf; between a Tenant and their own End Customers, since fulfilling an order is the purpose of that data; for legal reasons, if required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety; and in a business transfer, if SoftClick is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Each Tenant's business data is stored in a logically isolated database and is not accessible to other Tenants.
Tenant data is stored on servers we operate or contract with, with reasonable technical and organizational measures in place to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We perform periodic backups depending on subscription plan. While we take security seriously, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Access to Tenant data by our own staff is limited to what is necessary for providing support or maintaining the Platform.
If you (as a Tenant) choose to connect third-party services to your account or storefront — such as Facebook Pixel/Conversions API for advertising, SMS/WhatsApp gateways, or courier services — data may be shared with those third parties as necessary for the integration to function. Your use of such integrations is also subject to that third party's own privacy policy. You are responsible for informing your own End Customers about any tracking technologies used on your storefront, where required by applicable law.
We use cookies and similar technologies on softclick.pk and on Tenant dashboards/storefronts to keep you logged in and maintain session security, remember cart contents on storefronts, and understand how the Platform is used to improve performance and features.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform (for example, staying logged in or maintaining your shopping cart).
We retain Tenant account data for as long as the account remains active, and for a reasonable period after termination to allow for account reactivation, dispute resolution, or as required by law. End Customer order data is retained as part of the relevant Tenant's business records for accounting and legal compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your data, subject to our legal and legitimate business retention requirements.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@softclick.pk. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
If you are an End Customer with a concern about how a specific Tenant is using your information, please contact that business directly, as they are the primary controller of data collected through their storefront.
The Platform is intended for use by business owners and their staff, and by adult End Customers making purchases. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
Our services are primarily intended for businesses operating in Pakistan. If any data is processed or stored outside Pakistan (for example, via a third-party service provider), we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this Policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within your dashboard. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
